Dana Collins

Dana Collins began working with Impact Analysis, Inc. as a Research Specialist/Field Investigator in 2020. She previously worked as a Research Associate with Exponent (2012-2020) and as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal with M.P. Holcomb Engineering (2006-2012).

 

At Impact Analysis, Inc., Ms. Collins works in both the accident reconstruction and biomechanics divisions where she assists consultants as they prepare case file information, providing detailed research material and resources for analysis for phone conferences,

depositions and trial testimony. Ms. Collins past experience includes paralegal
support, field investigations; including vehicle downloads, FARO 3D scanning and photographic evidence documentation. Ms. Collins additionally conducts interviews, background searches as well as assists in the creation and organization of written reports and analyses of her findings.

 

Ms. Collins holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Western Michigan University (1995), completed the Michigan State University Highway Traffic Study Program, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Police Traffic Accident Investigation Training(s): Accident Investigation 1, 3, 5 and 6 from 2001-2003. Ms. Collins also received her paralegal certificate from Oakland Community College with Magna Cum Laude honors in 2011.

 

While with M.P. Holcomb Engineering, she worked with the firm’s accident reconstruction team providing consulting and paralegal support. She has also worked as an investigator with a law firm, conducting interviews, background
searches as well as creation and organization of written reports and analyses of her findings for attorneys.
